Fall Fishing
The Lake fishing is NOT an early morning affair anymore....morning fog is the norm because of the diffrence between air and water temps....most trips are now meeting at 8 or 9am....panfish are moving to deeper water...we hammered really big bull "gills" yesterday in a 12 foot break near Black Rock on Bomoseen...the Bass are moving to the bank on rock structure....plenty of time left...Duck season starts on Oct 12....watch out for decoy spreads....we can all play on the same playground....please stay tuned...I charted on GPS yesterday a course to Black Rock for Ice fishing...scarcy isn't it....

The Vermont Fishing is FINE!
This is a NEW BOAT RECORD on the little rods (4.5 foot 4lb test rods)...Miss Cohen caught this 30" 10 lb Channel Catfish on a Chartreuse Champlain Nymph. It beats the old record 8lb Drum which also was a BIG FISH for the tiny rods....
The main rivers are just a touch high but the lake fishing through all of the IRENE event was awesomwe.... the roads east and west are getting better every day....for the best road information copy and paste this into your browser

There is no reason not to come and fish in Manchester Vermont....the Trout are fine and Bass are still chewing.... the weather is settled, hell we don't even need to get up early anymore....
